Goldfish & Guppy Taiwanese Red Clay Teapot

This teapot is made from Taiwanese clay, and red colour of this teapot comes when the reaction of the minerals in clay when it is fired in the kiln. The colour of this teapot is Red Clay. The teapot holds about 200 ml - perfect for one or for a small ceremony. This Marulin teapot comes from the Wong's small teapot factory in Yinge, Taiwan. Yinge, a small city outside of Taipei, was recognised as one of two earliest industrial areas for pottery, according to the literature from the era of the Japanese colonial period.

Prep & usage
Fill with your favourite tea and add around 200ml of hot water. Allow to steep for 2-3 minutes depending on the tea and then sit back and enjoy a nice cup of tea. Brew depending on your tea and then sit back and enjoy a nice cup of tea.

Storage instructions
Fill with your favourite tea and enjoy. Hand wash carefully and allow to dry completely before storing in a cupboard with your other tea pots. The clay could absorb strong flavours, so keep this in mind when making tea. Maybe brew only delicate flavoured teas in this pot and brew more delicately flavoured teas in a different one.
