Zigante Tartufi are a family-owned truffle merchant from Istria, Croatia.

Our Story

We are very proud to have found the largest truffle in the world. On November 2nd, 1999, Giancarlo Zigante (our founder) together with his dog Diana found a truffle weighing 1.310 grams in the Motovun forest in Istria, Croatia.

Our products are ethically sourced, gluten and soy free, preservative free. Zigante Tartufi have achieved worldwide recognition, allowing us to count a number of Michelin-star restaurants as loyal customers and it is our pleasure to now offer our selection to you!
