The red hot sambal is deep and intense from dried red chilli, with a caramel sweetness and tang from tamarind. Rempapa sambal tumis are chilli-based spice pastes ready for dipping or adding zing to your cooking.
About the Producer
Rempapa was founded by a food-loving duo: Shu, southeast Asian food writer and cookbook author; and Olly, a chef-turned-food buyer who saw a gap on the shelves for easy, exciting flavours outside of the standard repertoire of Thai/ Indian. Rempapa is born from the word 'rempah', or 'spice pastes' in Malay - the aromatic base for curries, marinades and stir-fries. Our spice pastes are carefully developed from time-tested family recipes, with no added preservatives.
