Not a sponge.

It's very heavy, and the suggested serving size, as given on the nutrition information, is one-tenth of a cake - I think you'd find it hard to cut that small a slice, and it certainly wouldn't seem like enough for one person. A quarter of the cake is still quite a small serving, my husband easily ate half of one. Taste is OK but not something I'd bother to have again. Sorry.
