Dittany or "Erontas" (Cretan local dialect) is a natural herbal tea which is the most famous of Cretan endemic plants. This herb grows only in Crete Island and it is considered by locals as a "miracle cure-all". It has a distinct aroma and flavour. You can enjoy it plain or with a spoonful of honey.

Prep & usagePut 2 spoons of tea into teapot and add hot water.
Cover teapot and steep tea for 3-5 minutes.
Strain tea solids and pour hot tea into tea cups.
Store in a cool, dry place.
