Nunc Living is a family run, small batch fermentery located in rural Buckinghamshire. The creation of Nunc was born from our love of bees, the environment, and our desire to live healthier and more in the present. Nunc is Latin for “now”.
We are passionate about brewing tasty hand-crafted drinks packed full of goodness. Our drinks are innovative, complex, progressive and packed full of goodness. All of our drinks are made from natural, raw ingredients with premium botanicals. Nunc is an authentic, undiluted, and unpasteurised drink. It contains no artificial colours, flavours, and no added sugars or juice. The only sugars in our Jun is from the raw honey we use to ferment our Jun.
What is Jun? In short, it is a rare cousin of Kombucha and considered by many to be the champagne of Kombucha. It is packed full of beneficial bacteria, vitamins, enzymes and amino acids, and unlike kombucha, as it is fermented with raw honey it is both prebiotic AND probiotic, which is great for your gut and overall physical and mental wellbeing.
Our Nunc has been cultured and hand-crafted in small 10 litre batches, made with the finest green teas and pure raw honey from our own bees located a 100 metres from our fermentery.
We carefully select the green teas used in our drinks to compliment the flavours of our raw honey and the premium botanicals we use: from the Mao Feng we use in our Juni-Purr with its delicate natural taste of fresh summer air, through to the refreshing, grassy taste of Japanese Sencha green tea used in our Hops Monster. We never want to bury the flavour of the tea and raw honey under layers of juices and chemicals so we start with a delicious foundation and then infuse the botanicals, layering delicious flavours to make our Nunc. We believe we are crafting a new non-alcoholic experience.
We hope you enjoy Nunc as much as we enjoy brewing it.
