Our Story

Kelly and Kat met at University studying Fine Art and both graduated in 2011. Their Essex based business flourished when they introduced their 'free from' muffin mixes in 2016, so you can easily bake your own muffins at home.

The love of art and baking with great ingredients cemented the partnership, which is now the Muffin Makery.

The recipes for their popular fresh muffins are top secret, so encouraged by customer demand in 2016 they developed a range of free-from muffin mixes for home baking, to make 'Free From' muffin making easy, opening up a new world of creative baking for their customers.

Their pots are made from plastic that's recyclable, reusable and resealable, a muffin fits perfectly into a resealed pot for lunch! The pot sleeves are made from 100% recycled materials and all external packaging received by the business is reused for shipping products.
