Born in Dorset in 2002, Chococo are a proudly independent artisan chocolate brand on a mission to tantalise taste buds with the most deliciously uplifting fine chocolate experience in the UK.

They're also a principled bunch who care about doing the right thing.

Our Story

Set up by husband and wife team, Andy and Claire Burnet, we are proud to have been making fine fresh handmade chocolates since December 2002 on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast.

Our passion for using fresh, local, seasonal ingredients and fine single origin chocolate to create delightfully surprising tastes has resulted in us winning over 100 national & international fine food awards to date.

We also make our own gelato, hot chocolate and cakes, as we want our customers to discover the joy of tasting truly fine chocolate in any format they choose.

We care about the bigger picture and always have. We were ahead of the curve back in 2002 when we launched our selection boxes without any plastic inserts to hold the chocolates in place.

Today, 100% of our packaging is plastic-free and is either compostable or recyclable. On a more global scale, we are supporting several marine conservation and reforestation projects in the UK and Sumatra.
