Naturally delicious grown up drinks with no alcohol, sugar or calories. Our non-alcoholic spirit Borrago is made in the UK in small batches by an independent business.

Our Story

Founded in 2018 by Tom Tuke-Hastings, who started off as a chef and cookery book writer. Borrago aims to deliver delicious grown up drinks for when you don’t want the alcohol. We support the bees and are named after borage, also known as the bee flower. We have given away over 100,000 borage seeds to help with their natural habitat and aim to give away a million more.

Our non-alcoholic spirit is naturally delicious and uses six steam-distilled botanicals to give it bags of flavour. Closest to a craft gin, it is designed to be mixed, not drunk straight and our hero serve is a Borrago and tonic. Pour a single 25ml shot over ice and top up with 200ml of tonic, we like to garnish it with a slice of orange and a crushed basil leaf for a refreshing and mouth-watering grown up drink.

We have 0.00% alcohol as we don’t use it anywhere in the process. Which makes it perfect for pregnant ladies, people driving, cutting down on alcohol, or those who don’t want any alcohol at all for medical or religious reasons.

We are stocked in some great locations from Michelin-starred restaurants to top bars, as well as drinks cabinets all across the UK and abroad.

We call it a non-alcoholic spirit because you use it like a quality gin or vodka as a base for delicious cocktails, but it does not try to mimic them. It is built from the ground up to give a drink like no other.
