The Thoughtful Producer, a passionate bunch of poultry pros and farming fanatics who are dedicated to bringing flavour back to British flocks. From the fabulously free-range life they enjoy, to the traditional method of dry hanging we put a lot of thought into our Chicken to achieve a noticeably rich flavour.
Our Story
We raise our birds in extensive fields where they are free to peck and forage for their food in the way chickens love to do. They live for twice as long as a standard chicken, which makes for larger, mature birds with naturally more delicious meat to enjoy. We process them using artisan methods, dry plucking and game hanging for 7 days before preparing them for the oven. It's not the quickest way to rear chickens, but it's the right way, and for us, it's the only way.
