Twenty Nine Degrees Chocolatiers is a small, independent business specialising in artisan, colourful, filled bonbons.
Our Story
Twenty Nine Degrees was started in 2020 by me (Isabelle). I had been made redundant in lockdown from my job as a lettings agent and decided to spend all of my new found free time doing something I loved. I had always made chocolates with my Mum at Christmas for friends and family and during the lockdown Christmas of 2020, I decided to try something more adventurous; and so, Twenty Nine Degrees began.
They are all made and decorated by hand by me (Isabelle) and they are all tempered to 29°C, hence the name… I use sustainable ingredients and techniques to develop my chocolate creations so you can enjoy every aspect of my work.
I believe that using the best produce provides amazing flavour and therefore I carefully select the best local products available to me, including some herbs from my own garden. As for the chocolate, I use the best Belgian chocolate available, Callebaut. They’ve been making chocolate for over 100 years so we’re confident they know what they’re talking about! Callebaut are also behind the Cocoa Horizons Foundation which works to support and empower cocoa farmers around the world. All of our chocolates are also palm oil free and the packaging is reusable and recyclable.
