This tasty tamarind concentrate is 1.8x stronger than tamarind paste and 4x stronger than tamarind pulp. Made from raw brown tamarind it has no added preservatives, salt or water. With a sweet yet sour flavour, often compared to lemons, apricots, and dates with a cinnamon-like scent and undertones of tropical mango, using tamarind concentrate makes it easy to add a rich tangy flavour to North/South indian dishes. This product contains no additives, only 100% natural tamarind concentrate.
