Premium quality DOP extra virgin olive oil from Puglia. Primarily ogliarola olives, plus a small mix of frantoio, coratina, cellina di nardo and picholine combine to produce a wonderful well-balanced fruit/peppery olive oil.
Boccadoro literally translates from Italian as 'mouth of gold', and also refers to the area of Puglia in which this superior category olive oil is produced.
Picked by hand from Puglia's ancient olive trees, and cold-pressed within hours of the harvest ensures an olive oil of the highest standard. Fruity and peppery, it has a wide variety of uses, but is ideal for vegetables, salads, pasta and shallow frying.
