    Product Description

Grechka buckwheat is a highly nutritional grain contains over 50 valuable vitamins and minerals, making it a healthier alternative to many other grains. It is rich in iron, potassium, phosphorus, and magnesium.

Additionally, the antioxidants in buckwheat help support the immune system and digestion. Grechka is also a great source of vitamin B complex.

Unlike roasted buckwheat, our Grechka buckwheat is parboiled, which means that it maintains its nutritional value while still having great taste.

    About the Producer
A nutritious grain-like super-seed with a delicate nutty flavour and a soft texture. We think that our buckwheat tastes waaaaay better than raw green or roasted buckwheat because it’s parboiled. What is parboiled you ask? Used in Central Asia which it's an old method used in the East which involves soaking, steaming and drying and results in the tasty, super nutritious and easy to cook Grechka buckwheat.

Like pasta in Italy, rice in Southeast Asia or quinoa in South America, buckwheat in Central Asia and Eastern Europe is eaten by everybody – morning, noon or night - in almost every meal. But over here hardly anyone has heard of it! So we - Daria, Malika and Vasilisa, founders of Grechka, are three women on a mission to introduce this super tasty superfood to as many people as possible. Why? Because we care about people of this nation and want them to make healthier choices so they feel better. The Buckwheat revolution starts here!

    • Fabulous Buckwheat

      Verified Purchase

I tried this Buckwheat last year I saw it advertised in a magazine as highly recommended, I love Buckwheat I use the flour all the time when baking. This is the best tasting far better than any other I’ve tried a really nutty flavour cooks super quick less than 10mins they recommend. I love it mixed in with overnight oats or with salad, it’s so healthy & GF what’s not to love.
