Haskapa is a husband and wife team business created from freeze dried superfruit powder, growing haskap berries on their all-natural farm in Nova Scotia

Our Story

Haskapa is the brainchild of husband and wife team: Simon a green entrepreneur and Evie a medical doctor. In 2010 they discovered a way to combine their two passions - the environment and holistic health promotion - by growing haskap berries on their all-natural farm in Nova Scotia - a place where bees, soil health and ecological management combine with all-natural berry farming.

After years of research and product development Haskapa freeze-dried powder was created retaining the high levels of the berry's natural bioactive content. The haskap berry is an edible blue honeysuckle with a dark purple-blue skin and vibrant crimson flesh.

Haskap berries are exceptionally high in anthocyanins containing 3-4 times the levels of blueberries, and 2-3 times more antioxidants. It is these properties that are associated with the Haskap Berry's health promoting benefits.

Haskapa Berry Powder is super-versatile and tastes great - add to your smoothie, shake or stir into your breakfast cereal, porridge or yogurt. It is also brilliant in baking and desserts - adding natural colour and a unique delicious taste. Each 100g pouch of powder contains around 1000 haskap berries (about 30 days' worth of servings) and nothing else.
