About the Producer Having first met while doing the school runs, Aline & Deena hit it off immediately. Bonded by their Asian roots and Western upbringings, they discovered they both shared a passion for Asian fruits.

The lack of dried exotic fruit was quite apparent and they felt it was a gap that had to be filled. Nearly 2 years in the making, Kooky launched in July 2021 with a mission to make exotic fruits more available. All the fruits are sourced from the best ethical & sustainable farms in Thailand, which adhere to humanitarian guidelines. The fruits are dried into Kooky fruits using renewable energy.

Kooky is a member of 1% for the Planet, pledging 1% of their sales (not profits!) to help fund environmental projects. They also believe in the importance of empowering others.
