Winner of one star in the Good Food Awards 2020. Nunc’s Hops Monster is a non-alcoholic, hop driven Jun-Kombucha bursting with flavour and aroma. It has been fermented in small batches using the finest organic Japanese Sencha green tea, premium botanicals, whole hop leaves (never pellets), and raw honey from our own bees in rural Buckinghamshire.
It has been handcrafted to be crisp, clean, citrusy and immaculately balanced. Perfect for the mindful drinker. Jun-Kombucha is packed full of beneficial bacteria, vitamins, enzymes and amino acids, and as it is fermented with raw honey it is both prebiotic and probiotic, which is great for your gut.
A rare cousin of kombucha, our Jun is a hand-crafted fermented drink, made with the finest green teas and pure raw honey. Jun is also known by the name of Xun. The history of Jun is shrouded in myth and mystery. Some say it originated in Tibet however there is little evidence to support this. Much like Kombucha, there is little information on its true origin. Some believe that as Kombucha is reliant upon refined ingredients, such as cane sugar, which were unavailable in the distant past, then it is more likely that as Jun ferments with raw honey it pre-dates Kombucha.
Regardless of its history, Jun is known as the "Champagne of Kombucha's" due to its delicate taste and high-quality ingredients. Our Jun-Kombucha is cultured in small batches using only the finest herbs and botanicals. It is authentic, undiluted, and unpasteurised. It contains no artificial colours, flavours, and no added sugars or juice.
The only sugars in our Jun is from the honey our SCOBYs need to thrive. Our brew is a beautifully fermented and crafted drink.
