Our Story

Gretel & Belle is on a mission to build a food system that is adventurous, sustainable and most of all, delicious. We created the UK’s first and only horchata drinks - creamy, refreshing and delicious plant-based beverages made with organic Valencian tiger nuts. Horchata’s delicious and unique flavour has made it a staple beverage in communities across the world. We are reimagining and reintroducing horchata to the modern consumer on a wide scale. Our horchata range is the new and exciting alternative to iced coffees and milkshakes.

We exist to challenge the status quo by innovating forgotten, unique food and beverages with mass appeal and developing circular solutions to society’s enormous food waste problem.
