Our Story

Why Bold Bean Co?
• Each bean variety is suited to different growing conditions, we source our beans from the best possible climate for each one.
• Our beans are heirloom... AKA ancient varieties of beans which prioritise FLAVOUR over yield. They're the best beans from each harvest, specially selected for quality.
• Bog standard supermarket beans are cooked as a commodity. They need to be heated up quickly, to a SUPER high temp, losing the nutrition and banging beany flavour along the way. We cook ours slowly, in small batches and pour the brothy beans into glass jars.
• We season our beans throughout the cooking process like proper chefs do! Their natural flavour is then enhanced in a way you simply CAN'T replicate after.
