Recipe: Roast Chicken flavoured with Rosemary and Lemon

The Christmas countdown has begun and what’s more festive than a gorgeous chicken roast on Sunday to get into the holiday spirit? If you are short of prep time, this incredibly easy recipe is bursting with flavour and takes under an hour to cook! All you need is your roast basics and collection of Extra Virgin Flavoured Olive Oils. These delicious oils are a great investment, as they make the perfect accompaniment to autumnal suppers.

1 Warm some Zeet Tunisian Extra Virgin Olive Oil with a piece of garlic in a large pot over the hob for around 3 minutes until the garlic is infused with the oil

2 Add the chicken legs to the large pan leaving to brown on each side for about 5 minutes

3 Once browned, pour half a glass of Chardonnay Dry White Wine into the pan along with half a freshly squeezed lemon

4 Cover and leave to cook for 30 - 45 minutes (depending on amount of legs)

5 5 minutes before they are due to be served, add a tablespoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Rosemary and Lemon

6 Slice your lemons or oranges for decoration

7 Once served, spoon a few tablespoons of the cooking sauce over the chicken and decorate with the lemon and orange slices
