Our range of 'Make Your Own' food kits inspire creative and health conscious cooks to get back to basics in the kitchen and make their own traditional fresh produce such as cheese and sausages from scratch.

Our Story

Chedingtons is a family business situated on an old dairy farm dating back hundreds of years in rural Somerset. Our traditional setting echoes our traditional food values and we are passionate about good, honest, unprocessed and uncomplicated food. Our range of 'Make Your Own' food kits inspire creative and health conscious cooks to get back to basics in the kitchen and make their own traditional fresh produce such as cheese and sausages from scratch.

All our products are beautifully packaged with the gift market in mind and the range is continually expanding with the addition of burger making kits due to launch next. We source high quality ingredients, all of which have a long shelf-life with ambient storage. Each 'make your own' kit includes any special equipment, dry ingredients and beautifully illustrated instructions. Milk is then added to make cheese, meat and water are added to make sausages.

The West Country is home to some of the best food and drink producers in the UK and our DIY food kits allow aspiring artisans to be a part of it in the comfort of their own home!
